⚾️Baseball + Legacy To honor his father, former baseball Commissioner Vincent is endowing the Yale baseball coach’s salary. His father was a captain of the baseball and football team at Yale while he himself was a graduate of Yale Law School. "I wanted to do something that would mean something to him and tie him to Yale baseball, which he loved…I think his prominence at Yale had something to do with my being so very interested in sports," Vincent said. One of the greatest aspects of my job is getting to help clients craft how they want their life to impact generations to come because no two legacies are alike. This article reflects a great example of what leaving a legacy can look like. Leaving a legacy is not merely defined by leaving behind an estate. It is an intentional, purpose-driven process usually defined by creating a lasting and significant impact on the world that reflects accomplishments, values, and influence. Hats off to you Commissioner Vincent for your dedication to leaving a legacy which will impact Yale baseball for decades to come! #financialplanning #legacyplanning #baseball

There’s a difference between the elite and everyone else. Elite by definition means superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society. Elite is not good. Elite is not great. Elite certainly is not above average. To be elite means you’re among the best. The Stars and Stripes Classic pitted America’s two most elite Special Operations Forces against each other on the lacrosse field. To talk about what it means to be elite, not just in sports but in anything you do, I sat down with Paul Rabil. Paul is the co-founder of the Premier Lacrosse League and undoubtedly one of the most elite lacrosse players to ever play the game. We share the keys to pushing through tough times, the mentality behind elite performance, why toughness and discipline matter, and how the PLL is changing professional sports. Jumping In with Paul Rabil is live! Guiding and supporting Leaders, Head coaches and Performers since 2011, in Understanding & Harnessing the #1 block to performance; Fear. Founder of Sweat & Courage (TM)
One of the great shifts in consciousness I have had with so Many leaders and performers is to get them to face the fact that much of their identity IS in what they do, and that’s absolutely correct. It’s tools in acceptance that are required and NOT denial. There’s a ‘ mental health ‘ movement seeking to take away such a brutal place to live but to do that is to deny truth The business owners are winners. Hell bent on success and it’s part of WHO they are: ‘ the winner’ Head coaches. There’s a price, you will be incredibly lonely and you WILL suffer greatly. Passion means suffering. In the acceptance of WHO you are you know you will have mental health issues every day but you have tools to navigate such the burden of WHO you are.

Reflecting on my extensive experience coaching youth sports, it's evident that softball tournaments are more than competitions; they're a microcosm of societal integration. These events showcase a remarkable convergence of diverse individuals, united by a common goal: to support their young athletes. This convergence facilitates unparalleled networking opportunities and fosters a sense of community and understanding among different social strata. #Leadership #Teamwork #DiversityAndInclusion

Nothing amplifies influence quite like sport. Thankful that gifted and called people like Dr. Daryl L. Jones and Brandon Podgorski not only get this, but make it a reality.
