I sent a comment earlier on this success story of how we can utilize technology in the Courts, but my fat fingers got in the way ;)
Regardless, new technology (Copilot, Machine Learning, Hybrid Hearings etc.) are being introduced to our market at a pace that we have never seen before the pandemic.
Unfortunately, our Justice and Courts market continues to ask for at least 5 references to be considered for an RFP, which immediately disqualifies innovative solutions which could check all of the functional boxes to improve the day to day operations as well as increase access to justice for your constituents.
One last thing, I have worked in the state and local government/Courts market for 35 years. We are called Vendors, like it is a Scarlett Letter which baffles me because our purpose is to help jurisdictions with antiquated technology transition to new solutions that make their staff more efficient, while reducing stress.
This is my opinion, but can we just view ourselves as partners.
I will step down from the soap box now, because our future looks bright!
