Whenever an employee leaves an organization, there is a possibility that the employee (all the more a disgruntled employee) might seek deletion of their personal data. Under such circumstances, having a clear repository and a proper flow of data becomes very important for the employer. Some of the instances, where personal data are collected by the employer are while onboarding, collecting personal data through CV, BGV, contact details, marital information, and bank details. In the workplace, access schedules (biometrics), assignments, CCTV footage, medical examinations, internal complaints and leave records. Through payroll, it contains employees' contributions, expenses, benefits, and in case of assessment, employees' training, aptitude skills, development, certifications, official letters, documents, and end of the contract. There is a lot of personal data collected in the happening of various events in employees' life cycle.
