Unveiling Our North Star! ⭐ 🏫 Today, State Superintendent Tony Thurmond gathered with nearly 1,000 CDE staff in person at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento and virtually with those serving in the field. CDE came together to unite around our shared purpose: the impact that we create for all students, families, and educators in California. At the All-Staff meeting, Thurmond unveiled our newly developed strategic plan, which will become CDE's North Star, aligning our priorities to drive toward our ultimate vision for California’s young people: the social, emotional, and academic empowerment that they need to achieve lifelong success in our rapidly changing, highly interconnected world.
