Looking forward to sharing my thoughts on the massive productivity gains that AI can bring to small businesses. But as Uncle Ben said to Spiderman - 'With great power comes great responsibility' - unfortunately with all the benefits that AI will bring - there will also be chaos and turmoil as we undergo the biggest change in our way of work and career choices. A significant dark side of AI is how it gives scammers superpowers in perpetuating fraud. Deep fakes, voice cloning, and AI aided social engineering is only going to get much worse. SMEs will need to up their defences and tackle these threats with new approaches. An exciting new spinout from Edinburgh Napier University's SCEBE, LastingAsset is determined to bring back trust in communication by tackling fraud.
