📢Q4 Market Update 2023 EMEA Legal Recruitment Predictions Many firms have recovered from a poor start to 2023 and, as a consequence, are now actively in growth mode. This is especially the case amongst the large US firms who invested heavily in their financial teams across 2022. Although this year was something of pause in growth, it is anticipated that M&A deal-flow will only increase throughout all of 2024 and heading into 2025. Listen to James Lavan, Executive Director of Buchanan Law (EMEA), discuss his predictions for Q1 across the European legal recruitment market in 2024. Read the new ‘Guide to Recruiting, Retaining and Remunerating Pro Bono Roles in Large Law Firms’ on the Global Pro Bono Hub!
Through the Global Pro Bono Hub, DLA Piper and the Australian Pro Bono Centre have collaborated on the release of a new joint publication, A Guide to Recruiting, Retaining and Remunerating Pro Bono Roles in Large Law Firms: https://lnkd.in/g9RiDFBH. Despite the important role played by specialist pro bono lawyers, there has been very little data or guidance available globally to inform decisions around recruitment, retention, and remuneration of these roles. The Guide sets out some of the key issues and trends for pro bono roles and identifies a range of opportunities and risks when determining appropriate approaches. The Guide is co-authored by Nicolas Patrick, Head of Responsible Business at DLA Piper International and Gabriela Christian-Hare, CEO of the Australian Pro Bono Centre. #probono #legalassistance #recruitment #remuneration
