The Hyatt Regency Hotel at The Arcade lobby, located in Cleveland, Ohio, was recently featured by Architectural Digest in an article titled "The 27 Best Hotel Lobbies in the World." Our #InteriorDesign Studio worked with Marous Brothers Construction to blend contemporary design with the hotel's rich architectural heritage. "While working on the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade, our goal was to preserve and maintain focus on the beautiful existing architecture while modernizing interior finishes. Design enhancements included custom carpets and light fixtures, textural wall treatments, and contemporary furnishings in a neutral color palette, shining a light on everything that's made this space an iconic venue in Cleveland for the past 100+ years," said Katalin Signs, MBA, NCIDQ, Interior Design Director. Renovation and Remodeling in a Hotel – Is There a Difference? ✨🏨 Greetings, design enthusiasts and hospitality aficionados! 🌟 Today, let's delve into the intriguing world of hotel transformations – Renovation vs. Remodeling. As experts in the field, let's explore the nuances that set these two processes apart. Renovation: The Art of Refreshing Traditions When we talk about renovating a hotel, we're often referring to preserving its essence while giving it a facelift. Renovation involves updating existing structures, fixing wear and tear, and incorporating modern amenities without fundamentally altering the layout. It's about retaining the charm and history while enhancing functionality. Remodeling: Crafting a New Narrative On the other hand, remodeling takes a bolder approach. It's about reimagining the entire space, from layout to aesthetics. Remodeling may involve structural changes, reconfiguring rooms, and adopting a fresh design language. It's a chance to redefine the hotel's identity and create an entirely new guest experience. Hotel Seidorf - 𝗔𝗻 𝗢𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 A picturesque hotel in Sosnówka surrounded by forests, offering exclusive rooms, spectacular views and a relaxing spa, ideal for an escape from the busy city life. The building is located 670 meters above sea level on Kazalnica Hill. It has been restored with great care and respect for history and architecture, making it a true pearl of the region and the Polish hotel industry. The Seidorf Hotel *****, which is part of the Seidorf Mountain Resort, is one of the most beautifully located tourist facilities in Poland. In order to achieve such high quality, not only such elements as the hotel's furnishings had to be taken care of during the renovation, but also, among other things, the extremely carefully designed and executed window frames. It is thanks to its size that the hotel has a richly illuminated interior, which exudes warmth both through its interesting design and the size of the glazing used here. When rebuilding the building, the owners were keen on energy efficiency to guarantee a high living comfort as well as low energy consumption to ensure an ecological operation of the building. It was not easy to meet the high requirements of the refurbishment project that aimed to combine aesthetics with quality and high insulation. What helped here were the Swisspacer warm edge spacer bars used in the double-glazed units, which protect the edge of the glass from the negative effects at the thermal bridge. #swisspacer #warmedge #energyefficiency #swisspacerinside #referenceproject

Room Typology One of the characteristics of a new hotel unit is the lack of a study on room typology. Typically, this is a task undertaken when construction is complete, and the result is irreversible. The importance of room typology lies in the fact that the more room types there are, the greater the chances of creating gaps in our plan and offering complimentary room upgrades to achieve high occupancy. Below are some simple tips: • Consolidating multiple types into fewer, or even better, the right number based on the size of the hotel, is a significant financial advantage • Labeling the view on the room typology, will save you from many complaints and negative reviews • The significance of "Sea view" is a uniqueselling advantage. Last but not least, create the right typology plan in collaboration with your consultant while in the architectural design phase. #roomtypology #roomtypes #hotelroomtypes #revenuemanagement #hotelsadvisor #hotelconsulting

Location, location, location. It's a timeless mantra we've all heard before. Yet, when it comes to hospitality design, going beyond commonplace to weave the locale’s spirit into the very fabric of the guest experience distinguishes an average visit from an unforgettable one. This subtle placemaking technique celebrates a connection between space and surroundings, where the view from your hotel room window becomes an extension of the stay itself. Can you guess the iconic river that inspired this panorama?
