'I didn't apply because there were already 100+ applicants' The most frustrating thing a recruiter will hear because Out of those 100 candidates: ❌ 90% don't even work in the industry ❌ 5% work in the industry, but are too junior/senior ❌ 4% have a great CV BUT you speak to them and they aren't quite right ✅ 1% may be just right So... If it looks like you are in that 1% and the role actually looks like a good fit for you, do this: 1. APPLY - with a CV that matches the ad 2. Using a good recruiter helps. If they have a more elevated title like 'Senior' or 'Managing Consultant' it is usually a good sign 😎
