This is a great news for Sri Lankans living in Ottawa. finally, we will have a viable option with SriLankan Airlines Official connecting Colombo and Ottawa, Capital of Canada. Usually the service of SriLankan airlines on the route LHR -> CMB has been great. I have always preferred Sri Lankan airlines since I started flying. However, their service has deteriorated since the pandemic. Hope the service will be restored to the world class level back again soon, especially the recent delays of flights. Overall, this will open a new window to uplift the tourism in Sri Lanka, one of the three must visit destinations for summer 2024 according to Forbes. Strong growth in international travel at Swedavia’s airports in June 2024 In June 2024, Swedavia’s ten airports saw over 3.1 million passengers, maintaining levels comparable to June 2023.
