So I think first. And, and I think the, the, the basic notion around there are some things that fundamentally don't change and then there are the things that change right, when it comes to the skill sets. So I think first event for seekers, they need to understand again, back back to this whole basic understanding of your role is to deliver commercial value. So that whole understanding of do you understand how what you're doing is delivering to the business objective that's sort of a fundamental whether you're doing growth marketing. There are social media manager, you have to understand that. So that's a basic fundamental. Then once you've understood the basic commercial fundamental, then from there you specialize because now you become the expert, yeah, to saying how can I leverage social media to deliver growth? So I feel like the biggest feedback I would give to most of most of job seekers to say, do you understand the you know, it's like a house, keep saying houses, but the foundation is that commercial understanding and then you're able to articulate. How being a specialist in this area is helping deliver that because that's the only way now you start to link back because I feel like the problem is most of them I'm like great, I'm, you know, and then people also hiring like that you see somebody, I don't know how many like Joel is that social? Like he has already many followers on Instagram, right. But those followers on Instagram, do you know how to commercialize that? Yeah. If you're not able to commercialize, you just go gather. You have a Facebook page, then you have 10,000 people, but how are you deriving value from that following? So that for me, I think is one of the. Biggest opportunities there is to say fast from my job on your hiring, how well do you understand what you're looking for? Yeah, how does that growth hacker or social media community manager, how is that looking back to my objective? And then therefore you can actually choose and select the people who are able to do that for you.

Had to Google if octopus have arms and legs to check this statement was true and not another one of my ridiculous anaologies but turns out they do so that’s a relief 😅 In many instances recruitment marketers are mostly generalists and have to work across multiple disciplines with marketing. It can be difficult working on one project one day and something completely different the next but it’s all about constant learning and development. The variety is also the thing I love the most about working in recruitment marketing because no day is the same and as a generalist you have the opportunity to learn such a wide range of skills within marketing that you wouldn’t be able to in many other industries 👏🏼 #recrutimentmarketing #girlsinmarketing #marketing
