Quality of Hire is the most important metric when bringing in new people! I recently conducted a poll asking what is the most important metric when making a senior hire. The resounding majority (89%) voted for the quality of the hire. Only 6% thought it was cost per hire. Yet the number of insurance businesses routinely pushing for a rate reduction for permanent hiring is growing. I get it. Everyone is looking to trim the fat right now, but is sacrificing the quality of your next tech or transformation leader the way to do it? You can be the judge of that. I feel the discouragement from so many rejection letters, and get more saddened when I'm ghosted on follow up for interviews. But I always remind myself, your future job is out there waiting. you gotta land that job so you can support your family and have the dream wedding in 2 years 💜 I'm pushing to be stronger but there will be good days and bad days. I feel like when people see my resume they see "job gaps" but things have happened in my life out of control that caused those gaps... I need the good days more then anything, especially when trying to find a remote job as a CPC-A.. (I can only due remote work due to personal circumstances) I'm in search of a remote HCC Risk Adjustment coder or biller position. If anyone knows of any companies hiring CPC-As for billing or coding for entry level, please let me know.
