This is going to be a long read! A year and six months ago, I took the leap into the vibrant world of Bold and Beyond. Straight out of college, a little (very) confused about what to do next. While everyone else seemed to have their five-year plans mapped out, I was just trying to figure out which way was up! Sick of sitting still and watching the world go by, I chanced upon an internship at a place that would soon become my haven for creativity, my launching pad into a world that is now my passion. And let me tell you, finding a job you genuinely love on the first try? Talk about luck of the draw! The past year has been a rollercoaster ride of growth, patience, and more than a few "ah-ha" moments. And while the journey hasn't always been smooth sailing, I wouldn't have it any other way. From working on multiple F&B accounts to venturing into the world of Alc Bev, each day brought its own unique blend of challenges and triumphs. Whether I was diving deep into strategic planning, behind the camera shooting content, or lost in a frenzy of copywriting, there was never a dull moment. One standout memory will always remain being dubbed 'Emerging Talent' during our first R&R – a proud moment that reminded me of the progress I've made along the way! But it's not just about the wins. It's about the journey – the moments spent brainstorming, the laughter-filled meetings, and the countless cups of coffee shared with teammates turned friends. Bold and Beyond hasn't been just a workplace; it's been a community. From our fearless leaders Sonalika Pawar and Shylesh Jain, to every teammate who cheered me on and challenged me to push my limits, I'm endlessly grateful for the unwavering support and camaraderie. This past year has been a whirlwind of growth and self-discovery. I've learned to embrace my voice, tackle challenges head-on, and never underestimate the power of a bold idea. As I look ahead, I'm beyond excited for what's to come.  New adventures, fresh opportunities, and endless possibilities await – and I couldn't be more thrilled to continue this journey with an incredible team at B&B. Here's to a year of bold dreams, beyond expectations, and boundless creativity!

Thrilled to share that I’ve recently completed an enriching externship program! During this journey, I delved deep into the world of retail media networks, uncovering B2B advertising tactics and revenue strategies. I analyzed global digital advertising trends in travel and retail, pinpointing new patterns and opportunities. I also crafted a comprehensive insights presentation to aid in corporate strategic planning. Through in-depth research on major retail media networks, I assessed their advertising products, revenue models, and market impact. 10 Years Ago: The Summer That Changed Everything I still remember this view like it was yesterday. The New Yorker Hotel, standing tall and bright, was my home for an entire summer during my junior year of college. I was in New York City, the place where dreams are made, with an internship at IPG Mediabrands. From the outside, it seemed like I was living the dream—NYC, a hotel stay, and a foot in the door at a major company. Friends and family thought I was on top of the world. But what they didn’t see was the reality behind the glossy exterior. I was broke, depressed, and completely lost. The city that never sleeps was also the city that never stopped reminding me of how far I still had to go. That summer, I learned how to stretch a dollar, how to navigate the grid, and most importantly, how to keep pushing forward even when it felt like the world was against me. Key Lessons Learned: 1. Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable: Growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones. That summer, I learned that embracing the unfamiliar is the first step toward becoming who you’re meant to be. 2. Try Something New: Don’t be afraid to take risks. Trying new things opens up opportunities you never imagined. That internship, even with all its challenges, was a door to great mentors! A special thank you to Sonia Riojas for simply existing - you were the first Latina I saw leading, advocating, and supporting your team and ideas. 3. Resilience is Everything: Life will knock you down, but what matters is how you get back up. That summer taught me the true meaning of resilience—an invaluable skill I carry with me to this day. Fast forward to today, and I look back at that summer not with regret, but with gratitude. That challenging time was what shaped who I am now—a marketing executive with a passion for empowering others, and a clear vision for my future. It was in those moments of doubt and struggle that I discovered my resilience and determination to succeed. The New Yorker Hotel isn’t just a building to me; it’s a symbol of how far I’ve come.
