Happy International Women's Day! Last year, women accounted for 50.3% of U.S. associates, surpassing men for the first time. The legal industry is evolving! However, recent surveys show that women still only make up about 25% of equity partnerships in private practice. Law firms need to pay close attention to how they are mentoring, training, and promoting women attorneys to address this statistic. If your firm can hire women but not keep them, there may be issues that need to be addressed. #DRICommunity #WomensHistoryMonth #womeninthelaw

Executive Leadership Coach for Senior Female Bankers & Lawyers. Help Female Leaders in the Legal and Financial Sectors Secure Promotions/Board Positions/Make Partners.
I don't think the fact these 4 leaders in the legal sector are in the US makes a lot of difference, in my experience, things are very similar in the UK legal sector. Numbers are improving but we are a long way off from where we thought we would be. An interesting article published for International Women's day in Law.com International.
