Speak positive words to your inner self! Do not allow your mind to wonder into the unknown. Learn that life is how you maneuver through it with strength, knowledge, compassion, empathy, and love. The expansive Truth,   Light and Dark are split from the same atom that created you.    They are not separate, they are equal.    Light and Dark are both pure.    Both exist inside of you.    And when you learn to work with both as a part of you, you begin to honor all of who you are, without a single part of you being “wrong” or “bad.”   You might quickly rebuttal by saying, “Jennifer, We need more love and light in the world right now.”   And you are correct. That point is not up for debate.   It's how we bring more of that love and light into the world.    What is needed more than that is less choosing sides, less polarity,    and less separation.    Less separation from yourself and a greater capacity to hold the duality of life's experiences.    That’s how you come into Wholeness & Coherence.     by honoring and loving all your pieces and parts, both your light and your dark and all the gray in between.    And Yes, along the way, you will bring more light into yourself and your life because, naturally, you’ll have the capacity to hold more light in your entire BEing.    Increasing your ability to move through the darkness with so much more ease, speed, and unconditional love.    And bringing more light into the world.

“Although all men have a common destiny, each individual also has to work out his personal salvation for himself …We can help one another find out the meaning of life … But in the last analysis, each is responsible for ‘finding himself’.” ~ Thomas Merton, “No Man is an Island.” Throughout our lives, we all face difficult situations that can be very personal and challenging. It is our responsibility to make conscious choices about how we move forward from those situations. We should ask ourselves how we can heal from them. I have faced many difficult times in my life and have asked myself this question every time I hit rock bottom. My answers might not be helpful to everyone, but they could provide some guidance or act as a template. Here are a few of them: I choose to be honest, seek justice for the oppressed, feed the hungry, and speak the truth. I also choose to demonstrate the true meaning of loyalty, caring, and compassion. It's important to understand that every choice we make has consequences, and we must be ready to accept them. This is one way to work towards personal growth and salvation. It has helped me to look at myself in the mirror without shame, guilt, or regret. I know that I have done the right thing by following the path of true love. Have you made a conscious effort to work towards your personal growth and salvation?

I love it when God shows you why His plan is always better than our plan. I love it when God shows you that He is still performing miracles every single day. I love it when God shows you why you went through what you went through. What God thinks and says about you is what really matters. Be mindful of what you feed your mind. Surround yourself with His truth and let it guide your thoughts and actions. In a world full of noise, focus on His voice and let it shape your identity and purpose.

How do you speak to yourself in challenging times? Do you hear criticism and judgement? Or kindness and compassion? In previous articles and social media posts I have mentioned Elizabeth Gilbert’s project on Substack called Letters From Love. In her own words, Elizabeth explains Letters From Love like this: “Letters From Love is both a learning space and a spiritual practice. Here, people come together to discover their inherent value and exquisite preciousness, and to learn how to write and speak to themselves from a place of love and friendliness.” With the intention of building up my inner voice with kindness and compassion I started writing my own Letters From Love back in mid-December and it has become an almost-daily practice. I more recently started to go back to my journals to read and record them, and as I do I can’t help but be amazed how damn good it feels to read a letter from love. She has some really powerful wisdom to share! We get so used to the inner critic, the judgements, and the insecurities that they can often drown out our love. But love is always there, she just needs space to enter. And so, almost every day I have been giving her space to enter and I have felt a noticeable difference in my self-acceptance, self-confidence, and self-love. I speak more kindly to myself now than I ever have, and I believe this practice is one of the reasons to thank for it. So with all of that said, I now share with you in the link three letters from love that I wrote to myself in the hopes that it inspires you to start writing your own letters from love. It is only by loving ourselves that we can return love back to the world, and wouldn’t it be nice if we could all feel and give just a little more love?
