As we wrap up the week, one thing stands out, and I'm incredibly grateful for it today: Team. Your team is everything. Be thankful for them. Take the time to let them know. And if you work for or with someone who doesn’t do this, quit and go find someone who will. You deserve to be a part of a great team. You can go very fast alone, and slowing down to define things and get everyone aligned is hard work. But it’s the work you have to do to go far. It may feel frustrating and slow, but it’s what builds legacies. It’s what allows you to pass on generational wealth and success. For those who know me, I like to go fast, so slowing down is hard. But I’ve learned that the journey is more rewarding when you go far together. Let’s build something lasting, something meaningful. Here's to the teams that make it all possible. This week, it’s not only time for many of us to celebrate Easter, but also the end of Q1. 🐣 🗓 A quarter of the year is now behind us. ⏳ Three quarters left. Maybe a good moment to pause and reflect: how did it go? Do you notice your mind racing towards what needs to be fixed, where your focus should be next and what goals you might have missed? 📝 Or can you look back and notice what you accomplished, or where there was progress towards a goal? 🏆 I can for sure admit that my focus can quite easily jump into a “fix list”, missed goals and next steps. This is of course needed to look ahead and make the next action plan, but something very important is then missed: ✨ The opportunity celebrate, to release some reward-hormone dopamine and feel proud of getting something done, on an individual level or as a group. ✨ Forgetting to notice, let alone celebrate the goals that we did reach seems quite common, unfortunately. So perhaps when we pick our favourite Easter egg to enjoy, we could spend a minute looking back at the first part of the year and noticing what we did well. 💛

Financial Advisor: Entrepreneurs, executives, & sales leaders rely on me to show them how to help keep their business open, their families protected, and their money working harder than them. | Father | Man of Faith
Success deserves celebration. Taking the time to celebrate achievements, big or small, not only acknowledges hard work but also motivates and inspires continued effort and dedication. This is especially true if you're a leader of a company or a team. Recognizing the success of hitting a corporate revenue goal: ➡ Shows your team you notice them ➡ Elevates the sales, marketing, and ops teams who made it happen ➡ Shows the employees that you're paying attention to the details of their actions, not just numbers. ➡ It reinforces the value of the journey and the effort invested. ➡ Creates an environment where achievement is valued. What are you celebrating this month? — I'm John Cole. I work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and top-sales professionals to make sure their money works way harder than they ever do. Stick around for the journey. 🔔 Follow me and ring the bell in my profile to see my posts ✅ Reach out to me

I love this from Candy Kittens. It's not often you see organisations celebrate their employees as they leave. What do you do for your employees at this stage? Does your contact end on their last day? Reflecting and rethinking every employee interaction and experience from attraction to alumni is a really interesting activity as you align your comms and processes to the culture you want to have. #employeeexperience #attractiontoalumni
A sad but sweet farewell to the wonderful Katie Hastilow 🍬 Katie joined us July 2023 as our first placement student in the role of Operations Exec. We’re incredibly sad to see her go, as she has become a huge part of the Candy Kittens team. From modeling in marketing shoots to assisting the sales team in rounding up orders, her contributions have been invaluable. She played a significant role in ensuring over 98% of our orders reached retailers on time. Her dedication included trips to suppliers and even a trip to Germany to understand how our sweets are made. She developed strong relationships with retailers, addressing order queries, and helping launch our new products, Wanderlust and Wild & Free. She also helped us set up on a new wholesale platform, Faire, and became an advocate of AI, launching a tool to speed up order processing. Katie has gone completely above and beyond during her time here. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. You will be greatly missed! 😿 😸
