This summer, kids 18 and under can eat for free at 14 library locations. Starting June 18, lunch will be served Tuesdays through Fridays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (except on Juneteenth and Independence Day) Last year, the library served 11,421 lunches to kids throughout Sacramento County. During the summer, 88% of kids who get meals at school don’t have access over summer break. Lunch at the Library supports food equity in our community with meal sites within our neighborhoods.
