Gilotsav!!!
2 - apparently, not a bad number! A benchmark before the open road ahead.
2 Years - rather positive age! Not surpizing yet, but yet the stage of stability before the sustainable self-recognition. A Child is able to speak already. The Adults, in own projects, are capable enough to assess the statistics of the past and the tendency of forthcoming.
A Good Term for Beginning!
With all respect for period 2018-2022, when the Agency was successful to manage alone own positions, and to grow own renome in Georgian Crewing industries*
(*There is still enough space on the page, where some dozens of your long-term service seafarers can place some impressions, discover some amazing those days stories.
They'd have the rights to express their proud of pride of such pioneers for You and for Us).
As being from aside, inadvertently and anyway, I'm focusing on Your the new period, when the Agency was brought, and contribute a new word in georgian vocabulary - Danica, with expanding Your success abroad, one side; with proving thereby support and colaboration to Danica, at the days which weren't been simple, which weren't been easy, - another side, however.
It's respectful and appreciative role You played. A Good Job for 2 years spent to work!
Several hundreds of georgian seafarers have find a job with your assistance, as I heard & read. And, probably, some days or places, me or my coleagues have met some of those seamen, somewhere, - for to discover Your Agency, in course of talking.
A news of Danica is opening new oasis in Batumi, I have seen at those days, - casually, in suddent view. And, nonetheless, I haven't been lucky enough to appear/or to reach a proper place at the right moment, - I was glad to know anyway,
that a number of my colleagues, have been lucky to use their better chance, with reaching the shelter harbour You arranged, - as usually, cardially but hospitadly; traditionally - with sarcastic hints but welcome.
I still have no opportunity or routines to monitor Your activity and success, - so why, the Anniversary announcement I observed with delay, and inadvertendly again, frankly to say.
Even though, I sure that the dozens and dozens of Danica seafarers are grateful today, while they happy to report abroad, expanding the fame of the name, that they have a new home port, - the same safe, the same convenient.
It's probably, I know a number of seamen have been employed with Your assistance. Perhaps, a number of them can remind my name, as we were been working before.
And, despite I'm still not in the active list of working personnel, I still glad to be noted of their better fortune.
So, I suppose, my speach was not much different from the messages You obtained novadays. For sure, what I said, was not such wisely and sagely, as kartvelians can say.
Otherwise, I said my words here.
Fair Winds, Danica-Batumi!!!
Our Georgia office is two years old!
Congratulations to the Danica Crewing Specialists office in Batumi, Georgia, which is celebrating its second birthday in July.
Situated in Batumi, Georgia’s key seafarer hub on the Black Sea coast, Danica’s Georgia office has access to a significant seafaring community. Georgia is home to some 10,000 marine officers and a similar number of ratings.
Georgia has recognition agreements for seafarers’ licenses with most Flag states in the world. Its maritime education and certification systems have been completely overhauled over the past decade and now fully meet IMO STCW and EMSA requirements.
The Danica team of experienced crewing officers is headed by Capt Raul Beridze, a Georgian citizen who had a successful career at sea, culminating in the command of bulk carriers, before coming ashore in 2018 to found a manning agency which then merged into the Danica Group.
Henrik Jensen Managing Director, said: “We are delighted that our Batumi, Georgia office has fitted so well into our global network of crewing offices in all the major seafaring hubs. Well done to the team and we wish you a happy birthday.”

3moInteresting choice of video footage to promote safety in the maritime industry! Allowing divers to jump into the water isn’t considered a safe method of entering the water.
