Last week, I was invited to try the newest restaurant at the Corners of Brookfield, and not only was the food delicious and the ambiance amazing, but I ran into so many amazing people like Alicia Wilson and Jeff Schmidt and Elizabeth Kay. Elizabeth Kay is beautiful inside and out, and one of the sweetest people I have met. I hope you enjoyed your dinner and date night out at the new Margaux Brasserie as much as we did. One size fits one How did the idea of serving a hotdog in a high-end restaurant make it number one. In the book #unreasonablehospitality , Will Guidara talks about how he overheard a group of friends, who would soon be leaving the city, about missing out on eating a street hot dog. Recognizing the opportunity for unreasonable hospitality, he ran out bought a 2 dollar hotdog and convinced the chef to serve. The experience delighted the customers and his team. This became the backbone of his strategy of listening carefully and empowering staff to personalize the experiences- One size fits one.
