Looking to do a good deed today? Have I got an opportunity for you and your company. Today my good friend Dan Koval gave me a tour of his company, Handi-Crafters Packaging Services in Thorndale, PA (www.hcocenter.org). This manufacturing facility provides work for adults with disabilities, giving them a chance to earn money and make a living while delivering simple goods and services. Pictured here is a new friend of mine who is helping to package Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty (my tween son has “invested” a lot of money in their putty!). There are two ways to help. 1. Most important: These folks need work to do! If your company has some simple manufacturing or packaging that these folks could do to help, it literally means the world to them. 2. Pretty darn important also: They need donations from corporate sponsors (they are a non-profit) to keep the hope alive.
