Recently, some members of our Zurich office took advantage of the nice weather to have a team barbecue near the shore of Lake Zurich. Everyone had a great time, including our four-legged and winged friends… #BestTeamEver #TeamBuilding #Consulting #ConsultingJobs #ConsultingCareers

Co-Founder & Managing Director The Bridge International, Chair CXO2 and President Claims Bridge International
The Bridge International team recently gathered in the Blue Mountains to reflect on our journey so far and plan for the future. With the theme "The Bridge to Growth," our bold aspiration is to become the leading and most trusted boutique consultancy in Australia. We're thrilled to have brought together our senior team from all over the country to build this plan together and have some fun in such a beautiful location. It was satisfying to apply our strategic frameworks to our own business, given how effective it is for our clients. We reviewed our business applying our Bridge Triple Play: Culture, Customer, and Commercial (in that order!). Our four strategic priorities are Building a High-Performance Culture, Excellence in Client Delivery, Commercial with Heart, and Strategic Growth. We're proud of our seven-year journey so far, the learnings, the leaders we have worked with and team culture we have built. It was great to take time out to reflect on our clients and partners that have enabled us to thrive. Everyone left the offsite feeling that our aspiration is possible with our great team and supportive customers. Exciting times ahead! #TheBridgeToIntegrity #TeamBuilding #BusinessStrategy #AustralianConsultancy David McDonald Sara Elmstrom Stuart Brown Benjamin Coleman Lewis Pullen Holly Jonas David Vincent Maria De Fina Stavrinides Chloé James David Russell Peter Hughes John Stewart Simpson Mitisha Paleja Lachlan Blake Hayden Blaskett Danny Camerotto Graeme Browne Brendan Gale Matt Pugliese Nick Le Fevre Ian Edgell Paul Thatcher Sara King

Taking a little break from busy UK market and enjoying a walk & lunch together When I joined a UK team at Adam around one month ago as a manager I was curious about the challenges and new cooperations. From the first meeting up until now I am still amazed of how each of the team member is proactive with ideas and how all of them can read the data and present the results. Of course as the team grew quite a lot in a short period we have some challenges we are trying to set up the right communication between us and find ways how to make it more effective. A great example is that few weeks ago we found that a task to allocate partners to jobs is done by 1 person a day and it takes them nearly a half-day each day and is quite a stressful task that when you see you are responsible your mood gets lower. We sat down and agreed let’s do it as a team and share it. Now every day half of the team is sitting down, share this task at a dedicated hour. What is the result: 💪🏻 Strengthening the team while doing the task together ⏳ Decreasing the time spent from 5-6 hour to 1 hour ⚡️ Managing more of allocation per day therefore making this task each day less stressful and tricky resulting in more happy team as well as more satisfied clients/partners. Happy to see what we will come up in the upcoming period with this incredible team. ⭐️

Strategic Talent Leader | Private Equity Talent Partner | Talent Acquisition and Executive Recruiting Executive | Managing Director, Human Capital
I spoke to an international search firm partner at the end of last year, who told me about a challenge he found difficult to overcome. He and other partners had relationships with a major industrial client. He saw an opportunity to take a strategic approach to coordinate all the work being done by the firm with that client but couldn't gain agreement on how to do that. Each partner wanted to take the lead, so no one took it. I suspect the lack of financial incentives to collaborate played a major role in the failure to develop a strategic approach. Another challenge could have been getting the client to lead with their strategic approach to managing their talent needs and challenges. Of course, the result is a scattered, decentralized approach when the partners could have worked together to develop a cohesive plan to solve more client problems systemically and generate more business for their firm. Some firms have compensation models that facilitate collaboration. Some firms even have the equivalent of Chief Commercial Officers to identify client opportunities and pull the right people together to sell as a team. It's a shame that, in this case, there weren't enough incentives to achieve a collaborative outcome. I think the firms that will do best, in the long run, will be the ones that can flex to work in a way that is in the best interest of the client and the firm. That seems obvious but can be difficult to achieve if financial incentives create barriers to doing so.

Your team is without a doubt your most valuable business asset. How often do you truly connect with them? The landscape of the business world continues to change and transform, where physical distance plays a less important role in fostering strong business relationships. However, the act of carving out time to meet in person, to establish genuine connections, and to share ideas with your colleagues is incomparable. Our recent team summit in New York gave our team the time to do just that. And each person came back the better for it, with insights and perspectives gained from each other. These learnings are not only enrich our team but also offer valuable strategies to foster the growth of the businesses we partner with. How often do your team members have the opportunity to come together in real life? #Diamonds #Gemstones #Jewelry #Team Elle Hill Disha Solanki MSc MBA Samuel Jansen Andrea Lucille Pooler, GIA GG Nan Lung Palmer Pamela Bernstein-Gulla Amy Curran Rosie Wareham

Funding Program Leader | Strategic Grant Maker | Dedicated to Improving Access to Care in Underserved Communities | Office, Remote | Gardener, Bassist
A significant part of my role involves collaborating with external consultants. This partnership can be challenging and demanding; however, it also brings about rewarding outcomes. Lately, I've been reflecting on the key factors that contribute to maximizing this relationship. What qualities, in your opinion, differentiate a consultant who is not just proficient but also an excellent collaborator?
