Our Community Health Academy begins today with 16 participating cities. While the academy's focus remains the same, we've used a continuous learning approach to try and improve the learning collaborative. We encourage other foundations and funders to do the same in their work. https://ow.ly/6c3850SlbZR

Amplifying the Impact of CEOs, Founders, Creatives & HNWIs → Regenerative Coaching from Boardroom to Bedroom
In the book 'Sacred Economics' by Charles Eisenstein, he discusses how Communities have evolved, and that Communities started to fall apart once we started charging for Services that used to be free and/or gifted. Eg Childcare, Meals, Maintenance etc It's common to hear about how Communities were much closer in previous generations, whereas now many people don't even know their neighbour. Communities play a huge role in health and wellbeing, with an 80 year Harvard study on happiness, suggesting that loneliness is as big a killer as smoking or drinking. When I set up cum.what.may, I made sure it was free-to-access. I had spent €,000s on experiencesand retreats to pick up knowledge that should have been given for free as a kid; knowledge that all of us should have. So we have free online sharing Circles and a free education platform. And that will always be the case. So what is it that you can offer for your community? Where can you add value to bring your community closer together? #Coaching #lifecoaching #community

📢 July is Good Care Month! It’s a time to celebrate the dedicated social care workers who tirelessly support those in need. From counseling to case management, social workers wear many hats. In healthcare, they are invaluable in helping patients and families navigate complex systems and cope with illness. They truly are pillars of patient support. Here's the thing: accessible health education can lighten the load for these incredible individuals. When patients have the tools and knowledge to manage their health, it empowers them and frees up social workers to focus on other critical needs (1). That's where Yumlish comes in. We provide culturally relevant nutritional guidance, making it easier for patients and families to understand their health goals and make positive changes. This Good Care Month, let's celebrate social workers AND empower patients through education! Together, we can build healthier, stronger communities. #GoodCareMonth #SocialWorkers #HealthEducation #PatientEmpowerment #Yumlish National Association of Social Workers (1) https://lnkd.in/gJfQDRz5

We all want to see kids given a fair start. While it's great to see more funding and attention directed at the early years, we won't see real change until frontline staff are supported with better data and information systems. Educators, midwives and nurses care deeply about the kids they work with, and when equipped with the right information at the right time can be incredibly powerful change-makers. Olivia Hilton outlines five data challenges in the early childhood system, and how #RestackingTheOdds is changing the game when it comes to data-driven continuous improvement for children's outcomes. https://lnkd.in/dWErUhZ4 Centre for Community Child Health Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) Social Ventures Australia
