Today, on International Women's Day, as the Delium team reflects on the theme 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,' it's crucial to acknowledge the barriers many women still face in accessing justice. For millions of women worldwide, the justice system remains far from equitable. Delium has always been committed to accelerating the delivery of justice and driving change and progress through innovation. By collaborating with the global legal community, governments and businesses, and investing in innovative approaches that streamline and advance evidence presentation techniques, we're dedicated to overcoming barriers and empowering women to tell their stories effectively while ensuring access to justice for all individuals. Innovating in a way that leads to positive change, with measurable and sustainable ongoing progress, is at the heart of Delium's purpose and vision every day. #IWD2024 #InvestInWomen #AccelerateProgress #ChampionEquality

While other economic sectors are making strides towards closing the gender gap, unfortunately our sector (the tech sector) is lagging well behind. Our event last week brought this into stark reality for us with some truly concerning statistics emerging. The advent of a new technology such as AI provides all of us the opportunity to hit the reset button and consider how we think about redress via an emerging growth trend. Much to do…

When I think about International Women’s Day, three words come to mind: FORCE FOR GOOD. And goodness comes from within. I proudly lead an organization at GeneDx comprised of 68% women. And of our senior leadership team, 55% of them are women. I’m a constant witness to the way we work — with courage, resilience, and a deep commitment to our patients — and the way we live outside of work — with big hearts, compassion and a ferocity for doing good in the world. We are indeed doing very hard things in the world of genetics, in the world of healthcare, and in the world of today’s capital markets. And — with the amazing men who are allies to us at work and at home — we are well on our way to making sure we realize our mission of ending the diagnostic odyssey. We are relentless in our pursuit of getting children diagnosed sooner, connecting them to treatments and connecting families and caregivers to advocacy support, all while ensuring our company is financially stronger each day and on the path to profitability. It’s a lot of competing priorities, but we’re doing it, day in and day out. Why? Because we are a FORCE FOR GOOD. That’s all. #internationalwomensday2024

Take a look at the work of our partner Data2X, United Nations Foundation. https://data2x.org/ Data2X is a civil society organization incubated within the UN Foundation. It works with partners to improve the production and use of gender data through strategic partnerships, research, advocacy, and communications. We are funding Data2X’s work to support countries to collect high-quality gender data, specifically data on women’s labour force participation and time use, to inform improved care policies. The full scope of women’s paid and unpaid work, and the time they devote to each, has historically been undermeasured. This lack of data has limited the willingness and capacity of decisionmakers to address unpaid work resulting in it being neglected as a public policy priority. We hope the work of Data2x will improve the data needed for better policymaking for women's equality. #GenderEquality #GenderData #UnpaidCare #CareEconomy
