Fantastic to be involved on the Advisory Board allocating funds to meaningful causes within our great game.   Our game is a global sport with global reach, demonstrated by the incredible crowds and initial viewership numbers for this 2023 RWC in France. Appreciate these numbers can be flaky but an average live audience of 15m (peak 17m, as per France 2023 President) for the opening game between France & NZ is remarkable and on track to better the RWC 2019 total tournament viewership 857m & 2019 RWC Final between SA & England of 45m (World Rugby).   The global opportunity is immense for the many talented athletes our country produces. For context the NRL Grand finals attract c3m eyeballs, State of Origin c3m & AFL Grand finals c4m (rough figures but you get the point). It's easy to lose sight of this in one of the most competitive domestic sporting markets in the world.   We look forward to deploying funds within this global community for the betterment of this great game.
