Today, B&H Worldwide joins in the celebration of Matariki, the Māori New Year, a time of reflection, renewal, and connection. As the Matariki star cluster rises, we embrace the opportunity to honour our past, appreciate the present, and look forward to a prosperous future. Matariki is a time to come together with whanau and friends, share stories, and plan for the year ahead. At B&H Worldwide, we value the spirit of unity and collaboration that Matariki embodies. We are committed to fostering strong relationships and supporting the communities we serve. We wish everyone a joyful and meaningful Matariki Day. #VantageOnFirstpost Sweat-infused Onigiri in Japan: Would you Eat it? | Vantage with Palki Sharma Onigiri or rice balls is a Japanese delicacy that is typically formed into a triangle shape using the palm of one’s hand. But the country has taken it one step further. It is selling onigiri - made from the sweat of “cute girls.” Because of the unique way it is handled, the onigiri is sold for a premium. While one ball usually costs around 100 yen, this one is around ten times more. Some studies suggest armpit sweat contains pheromones that can influence emotions positively but the practice is sparking heated online debates. But it isn't the only delicacy using such bizarre ingredients. Palki Sharma brings you more. --- Onigiri | Japan | Human Sweat | Firstpost | World News | News Live | Vantage | Palki Sharma | News #japan #onigiri #sweat #firstpost #vantageonfirstpost #palkisharma #worldnews

✨️ Mānawatia a Matariki ✨️ A beautiful time of year to rest, reflect & connect. Matariki has existed for centuries but only recently has all of Aotearoa embraced the true essence of the Māori New Year. For most, we are still learning about it, so here is a starting point. Matariki Values... we can all relate to at least one, if not all the values. So here is my challenge to you, how can all of these values be embedded into your year ahead? #mānawatiaamatariki #values

3 lessons you can learn from the Balinese celebration, Galungan. Today, the Balinese celebrate Galungan, the victory of dharma (righteousness) over adharma (evil). Ancestral spirits of deceased relatives visit the Earth, and the Balinese offer them hospitality through prayers and offerings. On this day, the Balinese renew their commitment to improving themselves and being better each day. How can you apply the principles of Galungan to your businesses? 1. Harmony: The Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, emphasized during Galungan, promotes harmony among people, nature, and the divine. Building good relationships and finding balance with your stakeholders is key to a successful venture. 2. Long-term vision: Galungan celebrates the connection between the past, present, and future. Our actions impact future generations, and we must look beyond immediate gains to positively affect our family, community, and planet. Sustainable growth and lasting success over short-term gains. 3. Resilience: Galungan honors the triumph of good over evil, reminding us that challenges and setbacks are part of the entrepreneurial journey. Failures are growth opportunities, and you must bounce back stronger after a setback. Selamat Hari Raya Galungan semuanya! #Bali #SustainableBusiness #CulturalWisdom #baliindonesia

In Western Culture, self development areas etc I have found x2 common and often opposing/contradictory practices. 1. That in order to grow and become we are told NOT to look back at our last. To keep our eyes on the road ahead. OR 2. In Western therapy, psychology and counselling they want to explore the first x7 years of your life or the whole timeline. I didn't find any connection or release through either practices. And as a First Nations woman, looking back is the one for the practices of looking back allows me understanding of where I have come from, and how I became this person. It offers wisdom, lessons and insights. So grateful for the Ancient practices of my Old People and cultures. In a moment of this practices I came across the FIRST flyer ever made for our first Kiilalaana Foundation session ran in 2013. This finding allowed me a moment of deep pride and connection to my own journey. And offered some wisdom for where I am today, the journey, the ripples effect that got me and here and the seeds planted along the way that arw now bearing fruit and seeds of their own. #firstnationsculture #warriorheart #Reconciliation
Words from our founder Shantelle Thompson OAM Very first Kiilalaana session was run in 2013... Celebrating 10 years of the courage to follow the calling & Dreaming of my old people to found Kiilalaana & begin my journey to Aunty Shan #kiilalaanafoundation #warriorheart #getupstandupshowup #auntyshan #BeBraveMakeChange
