I recently had the privilege of embarking on a captivating journey through the Luxury Industries and Brand Management program at SDA Bocconi. This executive module, offered by the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School School, provided me with invaluable insights into the ever-evolving landscape of the luxury industry. Throughout the program we delved into a multitude of captivating topics, ranging from the fundamentals of luxury to the challenges and opportunities of sustainability in the industry. I was fascinated by the depth of knowledge shared by our esteemed faculty Laura Pan, Marco Tortoriello, Stefania Carraro and a special emphasis on Gabriella Lojacono, whose guidance and warm hospitality made this program truly exceptional. I extend my sincere appreciation to the professors and guest speakers who imparted their expertise and passion for the industry.  The program enabled me to learn directly from industry leaders such as Riccardo Sciutto, the former CEO of Sergio Rossi, who provided a unique insight into how luxury companies implement their brand and production strategies. Moreover, we had the privilege of hearing from a diverse array of remarkable speakers representing renowned brands like illycaffè, STYLE CAPITAL SGR S.p.A., and Molteni&C, along with a company visit to DAMIANI, where we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in creating luxury jewellery.  Additionally, we were fortunate to receive guidance and wisdom from industry consultants at prestigious firms like Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Bain & Company. Their insights equipped us with a comprehensive understanding of the industry's current trends and future projections, empowering us to navigate this dynamic landscape. I express my deepest gratitude to the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and SDA Bocconi for organising this enlightening program. The knowledge and connections I have gained on this remarkable journey will undoubtedly shape my future endeavours in the luxury industry.
