Practical Leadership Beyond The Textbook. #femiokikiola How often do we witness textbook ideas with less of practical fluidity and experience in execution? It is important we note that people are expecting. Beyond eloquence is the high expectations for delivery, the personal experiences, and their impact on trajectories. The impact of our leadership should be a direct experience felt by others. Leadership is the practical demonstration and execution of shared ideas and experiences targeted at improving the status quo and impacting lives. It is a practical solution outside the books, driven by the team and to be experienced by all. There are many like-minded people out there who are not just saying the words but are practically driving them with tremendous results. Enough of the rhetorics as this is the time for us to go all the way out to beat into shape all our great ideas through practical works as everything is achievable if only we are able to roll up our sleeves and get to work. Let our love, our passion, and our resolve be our motivation for success. Being practical means being intentional and present to lead our teams and together drive the vision from our unique positions and perspectives. How interesting it is to lead teams with great clarity of purpose and in pursuit of our collective goals. This requires strategic planning and executiion, working with fellow leaders make huge successes owning our positions. It will take a collective pull of strong and practical leadership approach to achieve the unbelievable and to bring us the success that we all crave for. Leaders may need to be present all the way, working through feedbacks and brainstorming to break through barriers that may want to stand in our ways. Leaders possess the awakening switch to the team. Beyond the textbook, success is very practical and should be felt and measureable and this may get the entire team working towards success as we lead the way. But, how do we achieve what we do not understand as a team? This also underlines the importance of communications in the team. This should be a shared experience and across the organization. How are we strategically driving as a team? How are we practically working to fulfill our roles as leaders? Are we fully present to support our teams? How are we measuring our success? How hungry are we for success as a team?
