On 22nd April 2024, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) proposed a market study on 'Artificial Intelligence and Competition' to gather insights from all relevant stakeholders, to develop a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape of AI and the application of AI in Indian markets to help shape Commission strategies to foster innovation and fair competition.
