New articulated arm robots, AI software and teaching unit: The new Melfa robot arms from Mitsubishi Electric offer more load capacity and higher ranges. With the Melfa RV-12CRL, for example, the company has launched a vertical articulated arm robot on the market, which has a range of 1,504mm and a load capacity of 12kg. The RT-ToolBox 3 is an intuitive software for online and offline programming with simulation. It enables simple programming, flexible customisation and seamless communication with other systems. The integrated AI support improves movement sequences and increases efficiency. For example, it can integrate 3D system data to enable precise movements and collision avoidance. In addition, gripper models can be included in the simulation. The R86TB teaching box allows the use of the RT toolbox3 functions directly on the robot. With the 3D simulation software Melsoft-Gemini, processes can be built directly in a 3D simulation environment. This enables advance control and improvement in the simulation without real components. The result can be integrated directly into the software and movement sequences. #mitsubishielectricireland #robotics #automation
