It took some time, but now I can add a checkmark to my bucket list! Hello, LinkedIn community! I am thinking about writing a new book that will explore my unique journey of being my authentic self in Black urban communities, rural white communities, and diverse suburbs in today’s divided America. Baseball ⚾️, a sport that has united people since its inception in 1845, has played a significant role in my life. From the Negro Leagues to Jackie Robinson and the Braves' move to Atlanta, baseball has been a vehicle for unity. I’d love your help in coming up with three potential titles for this book.
