Free book hack: Move out at your kid’s dorm. 📚 World Book Day Series, contd….📚 Thank you to all the parents who paid full price for these great books, and thank you to all the students who clearly never opened them. Brand new. Discovered these unread treasures in the lobby of my kid’s dorm hall, in bins full of books to be tossed, after she kicked me out of her room (or rather suggested nicely) because I was too “distracting.” 😂😂 #MyLifeIsAFridayFunny (FTR - I WAS quiet while she finished an essay for her final. But I’d have been distracted, too.) 😉 Me??? Loud in the dorms??? 🙃 Apparently some things never change.😂😂😂 Don’t ask my former roommates. PS - Bonus tip: Check out your local library. They usually have annual sales for surplus copies or seldom checked-out books. I’ve gotten some GREAT deals at mine. More than 1000 books down, and I'm just getting started... 📚 It all started in 8th grade when I picked up my first novel and got completely lost in its pages. Reading has shaped the way I approach challenges, sparking creativity and giving me countless perspectives. Plus, it's a great conversation starter (who doesn’t love a good book recommendation?).
