It’s like advertising meat to a vegan community. Recently, I’ve received quite a few postcards in the mail advertising pet food. I find it interesting. If you do any research into the Lakewood community, you’ll find that hardly anyone here has pets. (Nothing against them, it’s just the facts.) Whichever company is sending out postcards to everyone in town is essentially throwing their money into the garbage. It got me thinking about target markets. Before marketing any product or service, it’s crucial to determine who your clients are. From there, you can work outwards. And no, everyone is not an answer. Because when you speak to everyone, you speak to no one. So, do yourself a favor. Before you go head-on into your marketing, spend time identifying your audience. Speak to them and meet them in their surroundings. Show up where they’ll see you. Who’s your target market? #print #design #marketing #bpprintgroup
Positioning is a huge step once that audience is identified

3moIt's the only way to do proper marketing. Must know the target audience. Starbucks has this down to a science, from the age of the average customer to the kind of boots she wears.
