In this letter, the authors develop exact analytical expressions for the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), ergodic capacity, and average bit-error-rate (BER) performance of a THz wireless link under the combined effect of α- μ fading channel, zero-boresight pointing errors, and the Gaussian distributed #transceiver #hardware #impairment (#THI). This work presents a novel optimization framework for the joint #true-#time #delay (#TTD) and #phase #shifters (#PS) precoder design, incorporating realistic time delay constraints for each TTD device to mitigate the aforementioned beam squint effect in wideband #sub-#Terahertz (#sub-#THz) massive #multiple-#input #multiple-#output (#MIMO) communication systems. Unlike previous methods, their framework does not rely on the unbounded time delay assumption and optimizes the TTD and PS values jointly to cope with the practical limitations. This paper proposes a novel phase calibration method to cancel out both the random and systematic time-invariant phase offsets at the superheterodyne receiver frontends. Direct phase offset measurements and on-site calibration are made possible by additional hardware connections, achieving simple implementation and accurate differential phase measurements without relying on bandwidth resources. Comparison of two protection schemes for OLP OTN OLP advantages: Deployment is quick based on existing routing, just replace the expansion card and add a protection card. The cost is low and there is no need to significantly change the current equipment. In case of double-core line failure, 100% automatic routing is guaranteed. Disadvantages: In the current network environment, line attenuation increases, single-core interruptions and other conditions are not sensitive. Manual switching is required according to the situation and requires personnel to be on duty. OTN advantages: Configure the conditions for route switching according to the trigger type (such as LOS, LOF, LOM, AIS, TTI, LCK, etc.). Switch to the backup route 100% when the trigger conditions are met. High reliability and no need for human supervision. Shortcoming: Equipment needs to be replaced, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the current cabinet space is insufficient. The cost is high. This paper presents a single-element #linearly #polarized (#LP) patch antenna characterized by a wide impedance bandwidth and low profile, optimized for 5G V2X applications. By inserting air gaps into the LP patch antenna structure, a #circularly #polarized (#CP) antenna is generated.
