A company without employees – how to register it in Slovenia ? Some of you ask how to register a company without employees? Founders of companies have businesses in their own country and want to expand in other EU countries. They are employed full-time in their own companies. And they don’t want to pay contributions in two places. Are you one of them? Then you probably want to know how to register LTD (limited liability company). Register a company without employees Founders usually open LTD (limited liability company). That requires founding capital of 7.500 EUR. Capital. Founders pay the amount on the account of the company. At this point, you can use it for many business purposes. That is payment of wages, purchase of goods, investments. That is not all. You also need a Slovenian tax number and a business address. Employment of the founder and director in their own company Companies can have many founders and directors. But there can also be one founder and director. If there is one founder who is not employed in other EU country and is EU citizen, then he must register in the social insurance. What does that mean? He needs to employ himself in his own company. On the positive side, if he is EU citizen and he is full-time employee, he does not need to employ in the Slovenian company. Simply enough, one can’t be employed in two places. In truth, owners usually open branch offices or subsidiaries to expand their business on other EU markets. #solveniacompanyformaton #beeshmaadvisorygroup #beeshmaaadvisorypvtltd Sathya Prakash Shaswat Misra

It is relatively straight forward for EU/EFTA citizens to work as self-employed in Switzerland. However, there are strict requirements for those originating from third countries. It should also be noted that in some circumstances, an employee of a company limited by shares (AG), or a limited liability company (GmbH) may be treated as self-employed. #startup #employmentlaw #selfemployed

I was proud to provide the following written testimony on benefits access for independent contractors: AEO agrees with the sentiments expressed throughout the hearing by Dr. Liya Palagashvili, Ms. Gabriella Hoffman, and Ms. Kristin Sharp, that independent contractors stand as a significant economic boon, desire the inherent work flexibilities, encourage entrepreneurship, and act as a pipeline to developing the small businesses that employ over 60 million Americans. As shown through the societal impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic, how people work, when people work, where people work, and why people work continues to evolve. More specifically, our research finds that: 90% of our survey respondents preferred self-employment over traditional employment The self-employed sector fosters inclusive economic opportunities and facilitates economic participation for underserved communities Independent contracting, a form of self-employment allows micro-businesses to tap into specialized talent as needed. It also gives entrepreneurs a business model to get started as microbusiness owners. Read the whole written testimony including links to our report on self-employment below.

Navigating the labyrinth of global taxation can be overwhelming for many entrepreneurs and expatriates. 🌍 Recently, I delved into a review about Northwest Registered Agent—a key player in the registered agent service industry. Their standout feature? Extraordinary customer service. Unlike many services reliant on automated systems, Northwest assigns a dedicated account representative to each client, ensuring personalized assistance. 🤝 During my journey, I’ve faced the dreaded maze of compliance and the panic of missing critical deadlines. Having a reliable service to manage important legal documents and provide timely reminders has been a game-changer. 📑🚀 However, an eye-opener was the cost factor. While Northwest’s registered agent services are competitive, some additional services can be pricier compared to other providers. Balancing cost and value is crucial in optimizing your business operations. 💰⚖️ 📊 Here are some insights for those considering a registered agent: 1. **Personalized Customer Service** - Get a dedicated representative for consistent support. 2. **User-Friendly Platform** - Manage documents and deadlines seamlessly. 3. **Cost Consideration** - Weigh the benefits against the expense for additional services. To all global strategists out there: Have you encountered similar challenges? How do you strike a balance between cost and quality in your registered agent services? 🧐 #offshore #taxplanning #registeredagent #businesscompliance #globalbusiness #entrepreneurship #expatriation>>>https://lnkd.in/gtrz7Ter

Should I set up a UK or USA company? Deciding whether to set up a UK or USA company depends on several factors, such as your business goals, target market, and industry. Both countries have their own advantages and disadvantages when it comes to starting a business. For example, the USA has a larger consumer market and a more diverse range of industries, but it also has higher taxes and more regulations. On the other hand, the UK has a more stable economy and a favorable business environment, but it may have less access to funding and resources compared to the USA. Ultimately, the decision of which country to set up a company in will depend on your specific needs and goals. When it comes to deciding between setting up a UK or USA company, it's important to consider factors such as the size and target market of your business, as well as the regulatory environment and tax laws in each country. For example, if you plan to target a primarily US-based market, setting up a US company may be more advantageous. On the other hand, if you plan to do business internationally or have a more global focus, setting up a UK company may be more beneficial due to its central location and favorable business environment. Ultimately, the decision of which country to set up a company in will depend on your specific needs and goals. Contact RTRSupports Limited to get your UK & US company & bank account now. CHANGE It's what we stand for. It's how we make this world better. It's how we improve society. It's something that can end suffering. As entrepreneurs, it's what we do. We change how people do business in the Philippines. We alter the old ways of operating with our services and content. Change is how we create a better world for all of us, our children, and the next generation. Because right now, there are lots of opportunities for entrepreneurs. But how can entrepreneurs take advantage of opportunities if they are bogged down by a lot of business papers to comply with and confusing taxes and regulatory requirements? How can they generate more jobs if they are set back by many employee hiring requirements and compliance? How much of a better world could we have if entrepreneurs had enough time to focus on growing their businesses instead of getting bogged down by accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance? How much of a better world could we have if team members didn't have to work long hours and had time for their personal lives, their families, and their loved ones? How much of a better world could we have if entrepreneurs have thriving businesses while having time to look after their kids and enjoy life? That's what we stand for. Our purpose is to simplify business so that the people we work and collaborate with can make more income and make more impact. And we will do it through our services. From helping entrepreneurs set up and register their business to simplifying accounting, tax, and payroll. We will empower entrepreneurs to make profitable business decisions so they can grow their business fast. This is how we are going to change the world for the better. If that's you, then get ready, because the change is coming. #businesssetup #businessregistration #doingbusinessinthephilippines #enterthephortal

Experienced board member & advisor, growth markets expert, team builder, business scaler, investor and mentor.
If you're even considering exploring the market in Singapore or launching in Singapore as a base for further expansion, you owe it to yourself to make the time to attend this Workshop... guaranteed pearls of wisdom and ideas to accelerate your growth!
B2B marketer and product manager building products, events, partnerships and strategies to help the next generation of companies succeed in Asia, from Singapore. EDB, Ex-Endeavor Global, Enwise, YearUp.
Setting up in Asia? Be sure to ring up an expert for help! As part of my spotlight series for the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)'s Workshop leaders, let's talk more about Hawksford this week. 💼 Hawksford is an international provider of corporate and fiduciary services, specialising in company formation and advisory services. They've helped clients big and small expand globally - from large and multinational corporates, FTSE companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs and HNW individuals, and with staff covering 20 nationalities and 22 languages, you're pretty well covered no matter where you're from. Over the past year, I've had the privilege to work with Hawksford's incredible team - Dario Acconci, Winnie Seow, Hamida Sultan, Chloe Koo and more - to develop 'Doing business in Singapore: Your Gateway to SEA', a personalised Workshop which covers a number of key questions often asked about expanding to Singapore and the region, like: 🚀 What makes an ideal launchpad for companies setting up or expanding in Asia? 🌏 What do I need to know about setting up a company abroad? 📝 What types of work passes, immigration, taxation and support schemes are available to my company? 🏢 What do I need to know about intellectual property protection? Here are some key takeaways I've learned from their Workshop: 1) Compliance and operational requirements are vastly different across Asia, so a corporate services provider that understands different market dynamics and compliance requirements is pretty helpful. For example, Moleskine shifted its Asia model from a distributor-led model to one led by its own companies, to gain better control of their brand and understanding of their customers. Hawksford was able to help Moleskine in its accounting, company secretarial and HR services, supporting 22 stores across 5 countries, and allowed Moleskine to externalise its financial department (saving on internal headcount) and structure its joint venture effectively across different cultural contexts. 2) Local partners matter heavily in navigating a new market. Hawksford introduced Global Processing Services, a global issuer processing platform, to key local institutions and agencies in Singapore, alongside assisting with its incorporation, employment passess and secretarial services. Joanne Dewar, CEO, GPS noted that, 'Hawksford’s advice and support has been absolutely invaluable since we started [GPS's] expansion into APAC with [the] first office in Singapore.' 3) End-to-end business administration support can help you focus on what matters. Syft Technologies, a New Zealand-based provider of mass spectrometers, had Hawksford take care of their company incorporation, accounting, tax and payroll, so they could seamlessly focus on growing their business in Singapore and the region. 📢 If you're interested to learn more about the Workshop and get an expert consultation, sign up here: https://lnkd.in/g8fjNbKN SzeKi Sim Zhilin Sim Shion Yee Wong Rovik Robert
