Great post from Jordan W. if the stats are accurate worldwide, people are spending up to 160 days per year looking at screens! 📱 💻 📺 This has sparked my curiosity and I have researched screen time statistics. Screen time can be both productive and recreational although too much of a good thing can have side effects like disruption of sleeping patterns, eye strain, obesity, mental health 🧠 issues etc. Most weeks I monitor my screen time use and balance as much of it as possible with outdoor reconnection with nature (usually I can feel when I need to step away from the screens) as I know too much is not good for me.
