One of my favorite meetings of the year is Eurolam and we are almost there. Organized this year by my dear friends Jesus Hernán González Cortés and David Pelayes among others in the setting of the annual Innovation course in Monterrey and I cant wait to learn from the great line up of RS from around the world and to share a bit about VitreoMacular Traction, Artificial Intelligence, Photocoagulation for DR and Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada.

Just had the privilege of attending "AI for a Better Tomorrow," an exceptional roundtable hosted by SGInnovate and SGMC Capital. It was a convergence of great minds from NVIDIA, NTU Singapore, and SGMC Capital, where Dr. Ettikan K Karuppiah, Prof. Federico Lauro, and Ed Gomes illuminated the transformative impact of AI across various sectors. From environmental sustainability to healthcare innovation, the panelists showcased how AI is not just a tool for efficiency but a catalyst for revolutionary change. We dove into the applications of AI in genomics, enhancing our understanding of complex systems and life at the molecular level, and the exciting frontiers in medical imaging and robotics surgery that promise less invasive and more precise procedures. The discussions, skillfully moderated by Jerry Lui, left us with a profound appreciation of AI’s role in tackling some of the most pressing global challenges. It's clear that the path forward is one of responsible innovation and equitable access to technology. I had the pleasure of attending the first ever AggNexus Digital Innovation Conference in Austin, Texas this past week, and it was an inspiring event! The gathering of industry leaders from the construction materials sector highlighted just how much AI, digitalization, and data capture can improve productivity, availability and the bottom line!   CheckProof was one of the featured software providers and I had the pleasure of presenting our solutions during the two-day event and also participating in the panel that discussed challenges and opportunities in digitalization. My takeaways of the event were the following: 🚀 Mind blowing to see the potential there is to vastly improve with the innovative solutions that are already available. 💰 Proven savings to the bottom line with digitization will give the necessary buy-in to invest time and money in technology to actually make the behavior change that is needed. So, for us as solutions providers, it’s crucial to show the value to keep driving the digitization process. 👨🎓 Early adopters of new technologies gain a competitive edge. I was besides myself with excitement today when my friend and colleague Amy Alexander was giving her keynote at the MD&M Minneapolis conference. While her talk highlighted four technologies—Additive Manufacturing, Laser Scanning, XR (extended reality), and AI—what she really discussed was how these technologies are improving the lives of our patients and patient care providers.
