Our interns getting some time to instruct one of our younger soccer athletes through a new movement, Barbell Deadlift. Context: This athlete had previously been doing suitcase deadlifts and is doing a barbell deadlift for the first time. Young coaches need opportunities to succeed or learn without being corrected every 5 seconds. These two collaboratively did a good job, and learned along the way about the nuances of coaching more advanced movements. Not shown: Coach Eddie, came in to polish up their teaching in a way that connected the dots from what the interns showed, but not taking anything away from what they did. We will NEVER cut another coaches legs out from under them. Everything is a learning opportunity.
