I'd say from a very high level, our job is to automate manual processes to improve efficiency so that teams around the firm can spend more time working on the more important parts of their jobs rather than getting stuck with a bunch of manual work. Pretty much all of my work comes directly from client questions, client visions. A lot of the work that I do comes directly from their feedback of "Oh, I'd like to see this" or "I'd like to do this" or "why don't I see this?" and trying to build out an automated solution where our teams here at BBR can do that as quickly as possible. We are very much in the business of customizing the way that we treat our clients. Different families have different structures of the way that their assets and the family is set up and they want it reported in a very different way. Certain people want to see different things that other people don't. Data Solutions has created an entire structure to allow for that Our team always challenges. That's how we've always done it That's kind of the nature of our team. We've had to kind of be the trailblazers to getting people comfortable with data in a different way and in how we report that to clients. Essentially the onboarding team brings over a client's financial portfolio from their previous advisor to BBR We deep dive into everything and our primary goal Is to rebuild everything from the ground up and make sure everything's right After 10 years of having a portfolio run for multigenerational families, you know people don't look back into the old things and how things were built. When we're bringing in a new family, we want to make sure that the base is correct, accurate, and we can move forward with a fresh and clean structurally built portfolio. I think BBR is just so client-focused and trying to create those bespoke custom solutions, but we really want to get into a place where it's super quick, super easy. It's quicker to get answers to our clients, but it's also better for us internally, right? So we can focus on what's important Like every day you're kind of asking yourself, how can I improve this process? And the process is always different and the solution is usually different. So it's really a role that kind of keeps you on your toes. For someone who likes puzzles and problem solving and finding solutions to complex problems, it's definitely a fun part of the role We get to be creative and work with the data that we have expertise in, transform it in a way that makes sense and that hopefully is a solution that we can scale to more clients, too, and that we can expand the universe of reports we even offer to make reporting at BBR even more impactful. You know, if we're given a complex issue or a complex portfolio, our team and the firm itself, we'll all work together to figure out how we can change our systems and change our processes in a way that'll fit and help this new family To be a part of a client's Peace of Mind, creating any sense of ease for them was really important and that's partly why I really wanted to do a role like this. To have that impact with a client was like very, very fulfilling.
