I believe that there are three types of business plans that entrepreneurs operate under. The first type is a business for Employment. This a very popular structure in the US. Usually, this is a small business, and the main purpose is to provide the entrepreneur a means to earn a living by engaging in the work they enjoy. This business is usually found in the professional or service industry. Often structured as a self-employed, partnership or a type of corporate structure. Normally compensation for the entrepreneur is either a regular salary or owner draw. This type of structure does not heavily rely on generating additional profit as others do. While this approach is perfectly fine, it often means this business is not being built for future sale. Over my career I have seen many of these businesses that have closed once the entrepreneur decides to retire. In the next few posts, I will explain the other two types of businesses and delve into the concept of profit and its significance

Financial & Tax Planning Expert for CRE Brokers | Personal CFO | Specializing in S Corp Setup & Management
Are you a CRE broker or an entrepreneur with a specialization in commercial real estate? Some brokers are role players, and others are entrepreneurs. Which are you? The vast majority of these entrepreneurs are actually “intrapreneurs” creating a business within the structure of an existing brokerage firm. You don’t have to start your own brokerage firm. You can create a very successful brokerage business within an existing brokerage firm. Your risk is lower, and your runway to success is shorter. Leverage brokerage firms for their valuable resources and connections. Top brokers are successful intrapreneurs - creating opportunities, driving deals, and building their brands under the umbrella of established firms. They embody the best of both worlds, channeling entrepreneurial motivations into a guided intrapreneurial approach. Their success reflects the power of blending entrepreneurial spirit with established organization resources. Decide which one you are. Successful teams and brokerage firms need both types.

Is it a good idea to go solo? It depends on a number of factors, including your own temperament and the complexity of your business. No one is expert at all aspects of a business, so if you go it alone, you'll need to hire someone to do what you don't do well. And hiring someone before you have a revenue stream is a problem. https://lnkd.in/gWtNA4wC #startabusiness #alone #vs #partner #entrepreneurship #entrepreneurs #businessowners
