Any MAT leaders able to help with this critical consultation?
📢 Calling all Headteachers and MAT Leaders! Impetus is conducting research to understand how schools and MATs make decisions when purchasing third-party services or products. With school budgets under increasing pressure, we are seeking to build our understanding of schools’ buying behaviour, so that we can better support organisations working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, both now and in the future. We are looking for Headteachers, Deputy Heads, and MAT Representatives with procurement responsibilities to share their perspectives in a 30-60 minute interview conducted by PwC, one of our pro-bono consulting partners, between Monday 7 October and Friday 25 October. The deadline to express your interest in participating is Friday 18 October, so don’t miss out! Your input will help us explore key areas such as: 🔸 Funding allocation to disadvantaged pupils 🔸 Decision-making on buying and renewing third-party services 🔸 School spending trends on educational services 🔸 Best practices for educational charities All participants will receive a summary of the research findings, including insights into future funding trends, spending categories in schools, and the use of Pupil Premium funding. We're compiling a list of honourable women to recognise for #internationalwomensday 2024 You can nominate someone (including yourself) who you'd like to be acknowledged as long as they meet the following criteria: Are in the sports/charity/apprenticeship sector (in any capacity) OR Have worked with Coach Core in some way AND Isn't cis-male or doesn't identify as male AND Is someone who has made their impact or influence after 2012. Nominate here: https://lnkd.in/ebnTaibM Top tips for your nomination: Consider what makes the person inspirational and what would be considered a great role model for those interacting with our charity. Include as much information as you can in your 50 - 150 word limit. Make it easy for our judges to understand the achievements and story behind the person you're nominating. Their impact can be of any kind, e.g. personal or professional, local or national, long-lasting or needed in the moment: We'll be including women from all walks of life and backgrounds, so don't hesitate to nominate anyone who meets the criteria, even if they're not well known. We can guarantee you have at least one person in your life who is worthy of being on this list, but if you're struggling, think of your family members, coaches, mentors or close friends and the influence they're having on your life. #IWD #iwd2024 #iwdevents

Fundraising Consultant | Helping small non-profits grow their revenue through Fractional Fundraising and hands-on support
I realized that I share about my business, but I don’t often share about the actual work that I do with my clients (and the key word is WITH. The most successful client relationships are collaborative). This is one project I’ve been working on with Business in the Streets: capturing and sharing stories of participants and alumni (all inspiring young entrepreneurs!). So proud of what we’ve done together and excited for what’s to come! #clients #fundraising #consulting #smallbusiness #entrepreneurs #success #storytelling #nonprofits #charities
At the end of our last cohort, we met with a few alumni to learn more about their stories; who they were before coming to BITS and who they hope to be after. One of the people we were really lucky to speak with was Kedesha Kondell, founder of Kondell Business Services and Adult Development and Management Center. Her business is run as a social enterprise that sells resumes and cover letters, then uses the profits to offer free jobs skills training to new immigrants or individuals with disabilities. She started her business after observing a need in her community and realizing that she could use her background and expertise to address that need. But when she started feeling overwhelmed, she came to us for help. And we're so glad she did! We've seen her come through both YCEO and Boot Camp and we can't wait to see where she takes her business next. Listen to a small clip of our conversation below. #SmallBusinessSupport #NonProfit
