Reflecting and thinking about my conversation with Alice Gregson CEO of Forum Strategy on Teachers Talk Radio, talking about the qualities of great leaders. From vision to vulnerability, Alice described important leadership skills, the "what we have", including strategic thinking, the ability to articulate vision and purpose, being able to communicate effectively to a range of audiences, being a relationship developer and developing trust.
She also spoke about behaviours and traits of great leaders, the "who we are", describing compassion, openness to honest feedback, inclusivity, curiosity, courage, being humble as well as the, often under rated quality of vulnerability.
All of this, Alice explained must be seen through a lens of context. She also noted that these traits and skills are not fixed. that we change and grow as leaders.
An interesting reflection on the contributions of CEOs too, that many of us may not have been aware of.

1moPeople's main concern isn't the tedious labor of tax preparation, and Mr. Lutnick doesn't bore everyone by going into the work of the tax department in 1993 through 1995, in helping to meet the compliance needs arising from the 50 million a year he mentions saving Bernie Cantor in taxes, by switching to a partnership. Tax attorney Doug Shrieir, Joel Rothstein, Future CFO Jim Ficarro, and yours truly, along with help from Donna, Lisa, Donna's brother's wife, Ken Wilson in systems, and future 9/11 hero Jeff Shrier with the mail helped out there.
