𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝟰.𝟬 | 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝗣𝗖-𝗨𝗔 Via OPC Foundation - unfortunately, not all machines vendors have the know-how of the OPC-UA technologies and in your manufacturing plant you will for sure have old machines, equipment, etc. – in those cases you can analyze if there are some solutions like digital I/Os, MQTT, SPS or other solutions to communicate with the machine! Customer needs are becoming every day more specific and complex – this is the reason why manufacturers are looking for more efficiency and productivity through industry 4.0 solutions, innovations, etc.! Industry 4.0 is enabling the “merge” of the top-down approach of the information flow (e.g. send data to the cloud or machine information) to a more “network”-based ecosystem! The flexibility of the manufacturing environments should be one of the most important priorities in the management board agenda and strategic roadmap for the factory of the future in which machines and material flow systems will communicate with each other. This will need a common language and a universal transmission channel! The adjustment of the ICT systems should be also efficient and quick when you bring new machines to your manufacturing plant!
