Thanks to the folks yd. Australia for allowing us to be a part of their national conference on the Gold Coast. They asked us to incorporate some of the Myers Bigg content that they were focusing on for their conference and we were happy to oblige.
Definitely one of the best-looking groups we have worked with, their teams came together with amazing costume planning and a lot of enthusiasm.
Thank you yd. Australia. You smashed it.
I loved hearing Jaya Fisher-Smith's feedback about this high-energy event and the vibrantly engaged teams. It's clearly a tight-knit community at yd. Australia. The team names were an absolute hoot!
Very much looking forward to future events with the yd. team.
Congratulations to everyone 🥇

WORK THIS GOOD CAN EVEN MAKE ALCOPOPS SEEM COOL
I first saw this ad 24 years ago (TWENTY-FOUR!) and it feels as fresh on last watch as it did on the first. A TV ad for the alcopop ‘Metz’ from the much lauded and sadly missed agency, HHCL.

I’ve always been grateful to three people for teaching me, as a humble strategist, the true value of craft - Paul Jordan, Clare Donald and Chris Groom. How the right music, editing, casting, set or pacing can turn a brilliant idea into an unforgettable one. The dissolve transitions on this, the arri cameras...oh, swoon....I think this was al young, but someone might tell me otherwise.
And while I'm swooning. That endline. That v/o. That beautiful pace. Oh, it’s a marvel. This ad is a masterclass. It bears watching repeatedly to marvel in the detail.
Some call outs go to Enda Mccallion for the directing, Glassworks for production and finally the immenseness that is that alicia suszka-fielder voice-over.
And if nothing else, let us applaud a brilliant, empowering and inspirational client who could give an agency this level of licence to execute something so unique. Beware the other types of clients, my friends, whether the moon is fat, thin or somewhere in between.

Well, that game certainly didn't disappoint. And the market wasn't bad either. It still remains to be seen whether the powers that be (i.e., the casino owners) want Vegas to host another #SuperBowl, but it seems to have been a great day/weekend/week in Sin City.
Let's have another great week by starting it with opening nominations for the Nice Guy/Gal Awards.
Every Friday, I’ll share nominations for people who have been identified as nice guys (and gals).
If you want to nominate someone, just shoot me a private message by 5:00 EDT on Thursday.
There are only 3 requirements:
1) you have to be connected to the person you nominate
2) you can only nominate one person per week
3) you can’t nominate yourself 😀
If you want to provide a brief reason for your selection, that’s great, but it’s not a requirement.
Let’s recognize people who make a difference simply by being nice.
Have a great day, everyone.

The new South African Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, has announced that the government will no longer fund "super fans" - extremely enthusiastic and dedicated fans who attend multiple sporting events and promote their love for sports on social media. The decision has sparked a heated debate online, with some people rejoicing and others upset. Super fans, like Mama Joy Chauke and Botha Msila, are seen as brand ambassadors for South Africa, but others argue that the money spent on their trips could be better used to support struggling athletes and artists. The minister's decision aims to promote transparency and accountability in the use of public funds.

Head creator - Music4Motion - Innovative music production company for sync and artists. Multiplatinum producer and composer. Eatraxx - 2.4k placements, 18k connections, one stop and publisher.
SUPALIFE - Eatraxx - Placement value. Yes, I discovered a lot of usage on this track and as always, giving advise. This track is used for
MTV - ARE YOU THE ONE, MTV2 THE SURREAL LIFE, COMEDY CENTRAL ROAST BATTLE, NICKELODEON and all its corresponding channels as a spot between a bunch of different kids shows. The usage is ongoing and has been so for 5 years at least. Why? It´s happy, life appealing, feelgood, carefree, empowering and simply makes people feel great. When you create content, think about such themes, and you will have much better possibilities of placements and multiple usage instead of a couple of tunesat detections worth 4$. This track is non exclusive one stop and available for licensing. [email protected]#eatraxx#licensing#placements#usage#happy#feelgood#70s#retro#vintage
