GRC Group has been working on intelligence driven application to security and digital security risk platforms to support large scale events like Pride Parade. This gives us an opportunity to test the model, make necessary changes to reconfigure and build toward fit for purpose. High level threat intelligence and digital systems sit alongside the deployment of physical security and manpower assets, known as layered security as described in the Crowded Places Strategy. This needs to work in unison creating its own inter-connected eco-system. - Intelligence driven (risk environment) - Security operating environment platforms - Natural disaster risk and identification systems - Crisis management process through digital technology Mapping the problem piece through effective intelligence is a very worth while exercise (ID focus areas), something that is poorly understood and very rarely applied throughout Aotearoa-New Zealand by lots of security professionals. Fundamentally it helps stakeholders understand "role and function" around the operational area. Public-Private-Partnerships are the way forward, where the Police (a finite resource) and security providers resolve the challenge together and deliver something that is connected, manages and reduces risk. Thanks again Shaughan Woodcock. GRC Group Systems, Secintel, SafeHomeNZ, Manaaki-CMS
