I’m pleased to be continuing our new #MeetTheTeam mini-series and share some updates with my network. Technology is where my passion lies, and this has shaped my entire career. I’ve been a part of the financial services industry in every role I’ve held, and I find that mix of bringing together hardware, software and services to deliver a seamless banking experience for the end user really satisfying. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many great customers and help support them with the evolution of how services have continued to adapt over time. Currently we’re seeing a big shift towards outsourcing and changes to how financial service providers are managing their networks. This requires taking a more holistic approach to build bridges between silos and decide how to make the most of internal resources to meet the overall vision for the future. This is where I’ve found combining the focus of my role between overall account leadership and managing services has been really invaluable. I thrive on being the trusted advisor for my customers and being the go-to person for advice and guidance on shaping and delivering banking services across Nordic countries. Looking to the future I believe the outsourcing trend will accelerate as financial service providers continue to make decisions about how their self-service environment will be structured moving forward. Protecting access to cash for consumers alongside pressures for cost optimisation will no doubt push outsourcing higher up the agenda, and I’m looking forward to supporting this next phase of industry evolution.
