The #UNS - Unified Namespace was a big success and all over the place in Hannover this week. It was clear just in a few minutes after we entered the Hall 15 and Hall 16 on Tuesday. TIPM/MRANTI at the 26th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo! 🇨🇳🤝🇲🇾 Our Chief Ecosystem Officer, Safuan Zairi, recently attended the prestigious China Beijing International High-Tech Expo 2024, marking TIPM/MRANTI’s first participation in this globally recognised event. Here’s a glimpse of his insightful journey: 🌐 Day 1: Kicking off the expo, which has been running for 26 years and is now officially recognised by the Chinese Government as China’s premier High-Tech Expo, TIPM/MRANTI was honoured to represent MOSTI at the groundbreaking CHITECH 2024 component. This new addition to the expo underscores the importance of international collaboration in high-tech innovation. 🌐 Day 2: Engaging the crowd at our South East Asia booth, we secured a bonus interview with China News Service (CNS). The expo showcased amazing new technologies, from AI-driven Sinseh for Traditional Chinese Medicine to Autonomous Tractors, highlighting the innovation prowess of China’s R&D, tech agencies, GLCs, and SMEs. A key message conveyed was the need for Chinese tech companies to view Malaysian tech companies as collaborative partners in R&D. This collaboration is essential for mutual growth and innovation. 🌐 Day 3: We presented to and engaged with numerous Chinese companies and agencies. There is also potential for exploring partnerships in other BRICS countries through the organiser, MP Group. This participation paves the way for future collaborations, opening doors for Malaysian companies to access cutting-edge technologies and fostering a culture of innovation back home. By engaging with global leaders in technology, TIPM/MRANTI is ensuring that Malaysia stays at the forefront of technological advancements, ultimately benefiting our local industries and economy. Recovering from an incredible week at #XPO24 -- THE technology event for autonomy! Key Takeaway: Collaboration and partnerships are the key to our success. We saw this through various announcements, presentations, and even through the pavilions on the show floor. Community brings strength, greater innovation, and resilience, enhancing our collective impact. - We heard from leaders such as Doug Beck, Brad Cooper, Michael Stewart, Michael D. Brasseur, and Courtney Albon reinforcing the significance of mission and agility as we deploy advanced technologies in the defense sector. - Michael Robbins, Tim Arel, Marc Nichols, Laurence Wildgoose, Matt McCardle, Gwen Lighter, Matthew Land, and Todd Graetz highlighted the commitment and impact of partnerships and collaboration as we "move toward friction, focusing on movement over motion". - Dr. Hal Brands, Harry Yeff, and Henrik Christensen all challenged us with new perspectives as we design, invest, and support relevant policies. We engaged through workshops and breakout sessions, curated by Shannon Whitney Walker, Kimberly Peicker, and a host of Steering Committee members; and we saw some of the newest technology solutions on the XPO Hall floor thanks to our excellent exhibitors. I could call out the many others in the industry who supported this effort, but the list would be endless. And, let's be honest... you know who you are! The experts, technology, and opportunities to connect all make for a successful event, but the people at AUVSI — Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International and Messe Düsseldorf North America, whom I serve alongside, make it even more meaningful! Now - let's not lose momentum. I've had several conversations post-event to discuss the next steps toward bigger projects. Similiar to the Saab, Inc. announcement of Skapa, let's use XPONENTIAL as a launch to something incredible.

Start of 2024 my Wrap-Up: Exciting Beginnings and New Partnerships! As we dive into the new year, I'm thrilled to share some highlights from the first two months: 1. Business Trip to China The beginning of the year started for me with a trip to #China. This brought exciting insights, future partnerships and new food for thought for our business in Germany and Europe. New Year, New Opportunities: The theme for this year is new strategic partners. Thus, we're launching a new division within CIP GROUP. I will update you soon. 2. Munich European Conference: My insights and exciting discussions! I had the honor of attending the 8. Munich European Conference at the invitation of Giesecke+Devrient. The conference brought together renowned participants from various sectors to discuss the future of Europe in parallel with the Munich Security Conference. Dr. Markus Söder gave a welcoming address before we moved on to the keynote speech by Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank. The discussion "Prosperity through cooperation" was particularly enriching - with food for thought on what we as stakeholders need to do to secure Europe's prosperity. Speakers included Zhengrong Liu (former CEO Beiersdorf), Hildegard Müller (President Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) e.V.), Philippa Sigl-Glöckner (Founding Director #Denkfabrik) and Dr Ralf Wintergerst (CEO Giesecke+Devrient). 3. mocci #Industrialisation & #Hub Opening In line with the new pilots and increasing demand, we have started the year of series production for mocci - made to work . We were also recently able to open our brand-new #mocci Hub, which is now operational! This space is where our cutting-edge vehicles will be manufactured, maintained, serviced and R&D innovation for mobility will thrive. It is a place where our teams will meet and create new ideas.
