Just listened to the latest Teams Insider podcast featuring John Bailey, Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation at AVI-SPL.

It's time for AV to enter the five-nine world, and I know IT teams are tired of the excuses. However, I believe we still need consistent data to understand where we stand, not just from one widget in the room but a way to verify all systems are ready to go. 📊
𝟐. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨:
John alludes to exciting advances on the horizon for video in meetings, and we are all ready. I cringe every time my CEO isn't represented properly on video, and the costs skyrocket if they're just an inch past thirty-something feet. Audio is stable and affordable overall; it's time for video to catch up. 📹
𝟑. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬:
The irony in putting new technology in our most-visible spaces is discussed. I believe AV designers are often forced into using toys outside the usual box to overcome design and architectural challenges of these high-impact spaces. There's definitely a desire for manufacturers to provide a product line that includes solutions that fit all and maintain the experience. 🏢
