One of the pleasant surprises at Editions.dev this year was being name-dropped by Glen during the keynote! We'd caught up for coffee in NYC in January and discussed areas of focus for respective roadmaps - the number one thing on my list for Shopify was unification. While their product teams have been absolutely killing it over the past 12-18 months, that's meant a lot of new features and API surface area, and as a consequence it was getting harder and harder to know whether cool new feature A (eg B2B pricing) would be working with cool new feature B (eg purchase option APIs). So while this Editions felt more like a platform consolidation than a slew of new features, I think that's actually a really great outcome and we can see increasing examples of them tying together the disparate parts of Shopify together. Giving partners and agencies confidence that new features will be available across the platform, across use cases and channels, is a huge undertaking but a supremely valuable one.

Boost Your E-Commerce Sales 🚀 In my journey of building successful e-commerce ventures, inspired by Ryan Daniel Moran's "12 Months to $1 Million," I've found that leveraging customer feedback is a game-changer. Here’s a quick actionable step I swear by: Survey Your Customers: Get feedback no matter what; call, talk, chat, visit and send out a brief survey to recent buyers asking for their thoughts on product quality, usability, and areas for improvement. Use this feedback to make data-driven enhancements. Why It Works: Engaged customers feel valued and are more likely to become repeat buyers. Plus, you'll gain insights to fine-tune your offerings and stand out in the market. Start today and watch your sales soar!

2 months ago, I already made a quick tutorial introducing Shopify's advanced checkout customisation for the 'Sam Shares' Youtube series. Next week, we'll tackle the extent of checkout extensibility even more during dear digital's first webinar of the year. - What is it? - Why is it important? - What are the advantages? - How do you implement it? Next to checkout extensibility, we'll also dive deeper into Shopify's new customer account structure. Lots of good stuff in other words. 🙂 Still some spots left, link in the comments. See you there! #deardigital #ecommerce #shopify #checkout

𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁. We had an amazing session recently with Andra Baragan and Alun Lucas, diving into the nitty-gritty of making your Shopify checkout smoother. Here’s the scoop on what we learned: 👉 The Express Checkout Puzzle: It turns out, the tiny "OR" might be confusing customers, who don’t realize they can also pay with a credit card on the next page. A little clarity goes a long way here! 📧 Email Validation Magic: Alun showed us that a bit of smart inline validation and helpful hints can make a world of difference, even boosting conversions by up to 22%! 🚫 Less Can Be More: Those extra payment options we think are reassuring customers? They might actually be doing the opposite. Sometimes, keeping it simple is your best bet. What works for one might not work for another. Test these ideas and see how they fit with your audience. Loved the insights from our webinar? Or have thoughts on Shopify checkout tweaks you’ve tried? Let's chat in the comments 👇 #ShopifyTips #Ecommerce #CRO #ABTesting #Convert
