Manda Hill did an expansion project and remained relevant. Arcades did an expansion project and withered away. The two are just a few metres away from each other. Just because a strategy worked for your colleague, does not mean it will work for you. Also, just because it worked for you, doesn't mean you make it a standard for everyone around you. The fact that your colleague has started their Masters, doesn't mean you should start yours. Maybe yours is to ensure your young siblings get into college first so that five years from now, they won't be a burden. There is no standard order in which things must be done, start with what works in your specific circumstances. Don't get pressured by other people's projects. Get inspired yes, but don't get pressured. In a similar line... I usually shudder at posts that say, "By the age of 30 (Or whatever age), you must have acquired this and that." No, there is no such timeline. Just because you managed to get a good job, through a good uncle's connection, and built a house by 28, doesn't mean your friends without connections are lazy. No man. They just haven't found their silver lining yet. It's funny how people who have had a good break in life, think others are not serious with life. No one wants to suffer. Sometimes things are just hard. Arcades may not have anticipated that East Park will come and make it Irrelevant. It just happened. While they were trying to get a PhD, as a key to success, someone changed the lock. It's just life. Mudson Ng'andu 🙏🏽 #MADTalks

Where will we establish the Creative and IT Hub in Lutsk? The answer lies within the final master plan the Urban Vision Lutsk team crafted. Urban Vision Lutsk is the first comprehensive urban study and master plan development for the central part of Lutsk, which involved more than 1,000 Lutsk residents and urban professionals. Together, we outlined the city's development directions. The project mission is to improve the quality of life and enhance the appeal of the central part of Lutsk while also increasing economic activity and the overall openness of the city. The findings from this study will serve as the foundation for the city's Master Plan – a strategic document encompassing ideas for long-term development and an overarching vision. #UrbanVisionLutsk #Lutsk #AlgorytmNGO #Algorytm

🌐 Exciting Collaborations Down Under! In January, RESCUE consortium lead Saija Toivonen and doctoral researcher Lassi Tähtinen had the privilege of participating in the 30th Annual Conference by the Pacific Rim Real Estate Society on the Gold Coast. They shared key findings from RESCUE, exchanged insights with peers, and delved into diverse presentations on contemporary built environment research. Gladly, the collaboration extended beyond the conference as Saija and Lassi joined forces with Riikka Kyrö and Rebecka Lundgren from Lund University. Together, they met with RESCUE collaborator Sara J Wilkinson at the University of Technology Sydney, and Resilience Specialist Nick Chapman from Willoughby Council. This provided a fascinating glimpse into the extensive #resilience initiatives happening in Sydney and its diverse suburbs.
