Cloud Security evolution I remember spinning up Dome9 (Acquired by Check Point) way back in 2019 in a few minutes ( with a read only access to AWS) to get unprecedented visibility into our cloud environment. Amazon Web Services (AWS) native dashboard SecurityHub did not give even half the visibility and was clunky and limited in scope. When we switched to Orca after a year we got still more insights and this helped better secure our Cloud environment. As I read this insightful article by Francis Odum and James Berthoty to the history of Cloud security evolution, so much as moved forward and some aspects are still the same.
