Think back to your very first triathlon, and reflect on how far you've come since. Imagine how proud and inspired your pre-triathlon self would be of how far you've come. You've developed a vast repository of knowledge in that time on all matters regarding swimming, cycling, running, strength, recovery and nutrition. Rowing teaches us lot about life and business: 🚣🏼 You have to go to practice 🚣🏼 You have to get on the erg to build & learn better rowing on your own so when it matters on the water 🚣♀️ You have to learn your tools, your ores. If you don’t use your ores properly they will cause you to not get to where you want to go in the time you want to get there 🚣♀️You have to know where you came from to get to where you want to go 🚣♀️You have to have blind faith in where you are going 🚣♀️ You have to have the strength to keep moving forward even if you feel you are going backwards 🚣♀️You have to build up the skills to complete your race practice & more practice 🚣🏼🚣♀️When you are rowing as a team you all have to work together or you never go forward 🚣♀️🚣🏼 When you are in a boat with other team members you have to rely on your teammates abilities 🚣♀️🚣🏼 When you are working as a team there is a coxswain seeing ahead to give you direction and will redirect you when needed 🚣🏼🚣♀️When you are rowing there is always a coach who believes in you more than you may believe in yourself and not afraid to redirect you 🚣♀️🚣🏼 When you are apart of a team you work together towards the benefit of the team 🚣♀️🚣🏼 If one team member feels they are more important than the team it rocks the boat 🚣🏼🚣♀️ If apart of a team and you don’t show up to practice (in the boat or off the water) you leave your team short handed and starting behind before they get started 🚣🏼🚣♀️ You have to be able to count & trust your teammates and coaches otherwise the want & will to of be there goes away 🚣🏼 You are always responsible in running your own race if in a boat by yourself or apart of a team #mungeragency #protectingyourlifeandlegacy #lifelessons #crew #rowing
